Simcoe Research Station

University of Guelph, Department of Plant Agriculture

The Simcoe Research Station led by the University of Guelph and OMAFRA, is an agricultural research laboratory. The renovation provided flexible general work and laboratory areas that met various needs of the users.

This striking lab features various casework and furniture solutions in Bright White with Steel Gray fronts. Highly efficient, RFV2™ low-flow fume hoods with stainless steel liners were provided with energy saving automatic sash operators. To offer increased flexibility, the architect specified mobile tables that could be relocated as the lab’s space functionality changes.
