The 20,000-square-foot Ryerson lab is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built research facility for the Faculty of Science’s Department of Chemistry and Biology. It boasts cutting-edge, collaborative laboratory spaces designed to support Ryerson faculty and graduate researchers across a diverse range of fields, from microbiology and aquatic sciences to biochemistry and beyond.

The lab's design incorporates both dry and wet labs, as well as essential laboratory support spaces. To enhance flexibility, the labs are outfitted with Sigma Carts™ featuring adjustable worktops and shelving, which are further equipped with integrated raceways for plumbing, electrical, and data connections. Mobile cabinets beneath the work surfaces provide additional storage, ensuring the space is adaptable to the dynamic needs of modern research.
